WINTER COAT US ARMY

The paint goes on smooth and covers well, really bringing out the details of the wool coat. I’m working on a diorama of Bastogne, and the matte finish looks just right for that worn wool texture.

The four paint pots have a nice creamy consistency that goes on smoothly for detailing the wool texture. I’m using them on a 1/35 figure, and the earthy olive tones match the wartime photos I’ve seen.

I was surprised how well the four acrylics capture the authentic olive drab and khaki tones of a WWII wool greatcoat. They mix nicely for subtle weathering effects, which is exactly what I needed for my Battle of the Bulge figure project.
