THE PURPLE SEA

Finally, a set that nails those deep violet shadows and vibrant purple highlights without turning muddy. The pigment density on these is fantastic—one thin coat gives you rich, opaque coverage for miniature detailing.

The coverage is fantastic—one thin coat over a white primer gives a deep, even violet that looks almost metallic. I’ve been using it for panel lining on a sci-fi model, and it flows beautifully into the recesses without pooling.

I was a bit skeptical about the color range at first, but the way these deep purples layer over a light base is really impressive. It's exactly the rich violet tones I needed for my latest fantasy landscape, and the paint flows smoothly right out of the pot.
