Scarlett C. ★★★★★

After trying a few different base tones for my desert nomad miniatures, this shade blends so smoothly right out of the bottle that it cut my layering time in half. The pigment density is just right for building up shadows without getting chalky.

Violet ★★★★☆

I was a bit worried this would be too orange, but it actually lays down a nice, believable skin tone for my 28mm figures. It thins well with water, though I did need a few extra coats for full coverage on the deeper recesses.

Michael ★★★☆☆

It's a decent mid-tone for mixing, but straight out of the pot the color is a bit too flat for my taste. I usually have to layer a wash over it to get any real depth.
