NATURAL SOIL

I mixed a little of this natural pigment with the Mud Effect to create a realistic muddy base for my diorama, and the color is spot-on for dried earth. It dissolves easily in thinner too, which made application smooth.

The pigment blends perfectly with the mud effect product, giving my model base that grimy, weathered look I was after. It dissolves cleanly in thinner, which made it easy to layer and control the texture.

The pigment itself is a nice light brown, but it takes quite a bit of mixing to get a consistent color when using thinner. It works fine for basic terrain, though I expected a more saturated result from the dry powder.
