MUD EFFECT

I used it to thicken some leftover house paint and the texture was surprisingly easy to control. It dried with a nice matte finish that really looks like hand-worked clay.

I mixed in some rust-colored pigment and sand from my yard, and the paste bonded together much better than I expected. It dried with a nice matte finish but took a full day to cure fully.

The texture is genuinely moldable once you mix in the sand, which gave my project that real clay feel. It dries clear as promised, so you can see the pigment layers underneath, though you’ll need to work fast before it stiffens.
