MINIPEDIA FOR GAMERS

I've been struggling with blending techniques for months, but this book's fully illustrated breakdowns finally made it click for me. The metallic armor guide alone saved me three practice minis' worth of frustration.

The step-by-step illustrations are incredibly clear, making even complex techniques like non-metallic metal feel approachable. I finally painted a space marine I'm proud to put on the tabletop.

The painting guides cover a decent range of techniques, though I found some steps skipped over the tricky blending parts. For the price, the book feels a bit thin, but the paper quality is nice. It’s a solid starting point if you’re new to mini painting.
