DARK SAND

This wash settles perfectly into crevices, making grass and dirt textures pop on my diorama base. Dries with a nice matte finish and the dark sand color is just right for dusty ground effects.

The dark sand hue gives a really natural, dusty look to my terrain bases. It’s a bit thicker than I expected, so I had to thin it with a little thinner, but the results are worth it.

The oil-based formula stays workable for a while, which gives me time to blend it out on terrain before it locks in. It leaves a slightly darker residue than I expected on flat surfaces, but once I wiped the excess off, the shading on my vehicle panels looked just right.
