DARK MUD

The oil base spreads evenly and settles into recesses like a charm, so panel lines on my terrain pieces look properly grimy after one pass. It stays workable for a while too, which let me blend the edges into the base coat without any harsh lines.

I’ve been using this to weather a tank diorama and the muddy finish it gives is incredibly realistic—it settles perfectly into panel lines and crevices without pooling too much. The oil-based formula blends well with thinner for subtle washes, and one bottle covers multiple projects easily.

It took a bit longer to dry than I expected, but the dark earth tone looks perfect on my tank diorama. The oil base really helps it flow into crevices without leaving tide marks.
