I was skeptical about how the color could shift just by changing the primer, but testing white vs black underneath these paints gave me two completely different looks. The iridescent effect on the black primer is especially striking.

The Prism Effect on these cool colors is wild—the same purple shifts from silver to rainbow depending on whether I use white or black primer underneath. It’s like getting two paints in one bottle. Definitely my favorite new toy for layering.

I’ve been testing these paints on different primer coats, and the way the same color shifts from metallic to iridescent is really striking. The white primer gives it a bright pop, while the black primer makes it look deeper and almost oily. Definitely lives up to the prism effect promise.
