Did a whole squad of infantry in one sitting, and the gradient effect still looked smooth even on the smallest shields. The paint flows off the brush just right for quick layering, and cleanup was surprisingly painless.

The one-coat gradient effect actually works—I got a decent transition on a cloak without any blending. It did take a couple of thin layers to fully cover the deep recesses, but it saved me a ton of time on my latest unit.
