The scene depicts pilot Hans-Joachim Marseille next to the tail section of the Messerschmitt Bf.109 F-4, both in 1/32 scale.

The pilot is dressed as he is best remembered: in the tropical uniform of the German troops in Africa.

The aircraft's livery is that used by Luftwaffe fighter aircraftin the African theater of operations.

The scene is completed by a small resin base with an arid relief, ideal for representing a small piece of the Libyan desert.

Ella U. ★★★★★

The tropical uniform details on Marseille are incredibly crisp, right down to the folds in the fabric. Placing him next to the Bf.109 tail really sells the sense of scale.

David Y. ★★★★☆

The 1/32 scale really lets you appreciate the intricate panel lines on the Bf.109 tail section. I just wish the decal sheet included a few more marking options for the F-4 variant.

Henry ★★★★☆

The 1/32 scale is spot on, and Marseille’s tropical uniform has crisp detail that really pops against the Bf.109 tail section. Only gripe is the pilot’s face paint feels a touch flat up close, but it still displays beautifully on my shelf.
