DAK COLORS FOR AFV

DAK COLORS FOR AFV - Main image
$7.13 $10.33 In stock

DAK Colors for AFVs. Set of 4 matte-finish acrylic paints, with colors appropriate for painting vehicles used by the German army in the North African campaign. This set can be complemented with SSE 039 Blitz 1939-1942. These paints are highly durable and easily withstand any aging technique using oil, pigments, and enamel washes. Before using, pierce the paint can's cap. We recommend inserting a small ball or stirrer into the can to facilitate paint mixing. Using a good dilution with acrylic thinner will allow you to airbrush perfectly. It is preferable to use airbrush nozzles of 0.4 or larger diameter for good paint performance.

William ★★★★★

The coverage on these matte acrylics is really good—two thin coats and the panzer grey looks perfectly flat. I’ve been mixing the sand with a touch of brown to get that faded, sun-bleached look for my Afrika Korps models.

Amelia W. ★★★★★

Finally, a paint set that gets the dusty, sun-bleached look of North African armor right. The matte finish dries perfectly flat, and the colors mix well for subtle weathering without looking muddy.

Harper P. ★★★★★

The coverage is excellent, and the "DAK tan" shade is spot-on for a late-war Pz. III I'm building. These matte acrylics thin nicely with water for airbrushing, and they dry to a very flat finish that takes a wash perfectly.
