WELCOME MR. YANKEE

The resin has a nice smooth surface that sands easily, and the figure's pose has a lot of character. I spent a weekend cleaning up the mold lines and it's shaping up beautifully for my Civil War diorama.

The box arrived with every part individually wrapped, and I was relieved to find no warping or air bubbles in the resin. The sculpting on the facial features is sharp enough that even an amateur like me could get a clean paint job with minimal sanding.

The resin has crisp detail, but many of the smaller parts needed significant cleanup with a file before they'd fit. It's a decent base for a skilled painter, though I was hoping for slightly cleaner casting right out of the box.
