I’ve been using this for base coating my fantasy miniatures, and the coverage is surprisingly solid even over a dark primer. It layers up really smoothly for highlights too, which saves me time.

The pigment is really finely ground, so it layers smoothly without any chalkiness. It takes two thin coats to get full coverage over a black primer, but the final result is a warm, natural brown that works perfectly for leather and wood details.
