I've been using this for base coating and one thin layer covers perfectly. The glaze consistency is easy to achieve with just a little water. Works great with both brush and airbrush.

Thinned it down for a wash and it still held its pigment perfectly, then straight from the bottle it covered a shoulder pad in one smooth pass. No chalkiness, no fighting the brush—just a clean, rich red that behaves exactly how you'd want.

The glaze consistency is nice for shading, and it does cover well in one coat when used straight from the pot. Just wish the lid sealed tighter—mine dried out a bit around the rim after a couple weeks. Works fine with a brush, though.
