The PISCES figure has some really crisp detail on the armor plates that made dry-brushing a joy. I’ve already used the ink from the paint set to add some subtle shading and it flows beautifully into the recesses.

The pigment load in that SSAR-027 set is insane—one thin coat covered the base color without any patchiness. The Pisces figure’s sculpted details held up perfectly even with a wash, which is more than I can say for other models I’ve tried.

I was pleasantly surprised by how vibrant the SSAR-027 paint set colors are right out of the bottle. The PISCES figure has nice detail, though a couple of the mold lines needed a bit of cleanup before painting.
