US ARMY 1942-1944

Finally got these for painting a 1943 Sicily diorama and the olive drab is spot-on for the M1941 uniform. The matte finish takes washes really well without that annoying shine.

I was nervous the matte finish would look flat, but it actually gives the figures a really realistic worn-in look. The olive drab is spot-on for early war M1941 uniforms.

The olive drab shade in this set matches the M1941 uniform references I've been using perfectly. The matte finish lays down smooth without needing much thinning, though I wish there was a fifth color for webbing. Solid base for a WWII US Army project.
