SPLINTER

The tones in this set are dead-on for the splittermuster pattern—the green and brown blend just right over a base coat without needing extra mixing. I used them on a small stencil project and the matte finish kept everything looking flat and period-correct.

The matte finish is exactly what I needed for the splinter pattern—the colors lay down flat and don't have that cheap gloss. These four shades match the historical jump suit camo tones closely enough that my build finally looks the part.

I've been looking for a good WW2 German paratrooper green for a while, and this set's base coat is spot-on. The matte finish works well for scale models, though the brown could be a touch darker for my taste.
