RESCUE FROM HELL

The tactical scenarios are really well thought out—the way they integrate historical battle details is impressive. Setup was straightforward and my first game already felt immersive.

Not gonna lie, I was skeptical a WWII board game could feel this tense, but the tabletop scenarios are genuinely gripping. The tactical depth in each move makes every decision feel like it matters, and the historical battles have real weight. I've already played it three times this week.

The included scenario book gave me three really well-researched historical battles to play through, and the rule set handles infantry tactics better than my last game system. I've already played through the first two missions twice each.
