Kolinsky Tajmyr 1

The tip holds a razor-sharp point even after a few sessions of layering highlights, and the Kolinsky bristles snap back into shape without any fuss. It’s easily the most controllable #1 I’ve tried for eyes and tiny edge work.

I've been using this brush for miniatures and the Kolinsky sable holds its shape perfectly through multiple washes. The size #1 is just right for eyes and small highlights without losing control.

The tip keeps a sharp point even after a couple hours of painting, which makes fine detail work way less frustrating. I was worried a size #1 would be too small, but the Kolinsky sable holds enough moisture to lay down a clean line.
