DULL BLUE

This muted blue has the perfect amount of grey in it, so it looks realistic on my sci-fi troopers instead of cartoonish. It covered the black primer in just two thin coats.

I was pleasantly surprised by how smoothly this flows on a wet palette — no clumping even after an hour. The matte finish gives my space marines a realistic armor look. A solid go-to for basecoating.

This muted blue covers well in two thin coats and saves me from having to mix my own desaturated tones for shading. It's the perfect mid-tone for painting fantasy miniatures without overpowering the other colors.
