DAK SET 2

Finally, matte-finish acrylics that cover the plastic figures in one thin coat without brush strokes. The green and brown tones for tropical uniforms are spot-on right out of the bottle.

Finally, a paint set that actually matches the dusty greens and browner tones I see in period photos. The matte finish is perfect for dry-brushing details on the uniform without any glare. It's nice having all four essential shades in one box.

The colors are accurate for Afrika Korps uniforms, but the paint is a bit thicker than I expected, needing extra thinning. Coverage is decent after two coats, though I wish the set included a lighter shade for highlights.
