COMPLEMENTARY VIOLET

I was pleasantly surprised how smoothly this violet flows right out of the bottle—no clogging or chalkiness. It covered my space marine’s cloak in just two thin coats, which saved me time on an otherwise tedious step.

The coverage is surprisingly good for a single coat of violet, and it thins down beautifully for highlights without losing pigment strength. I used it on a cloak and the matte finish really makes the shadows pop.

The bottle cap sealed tight on first use, which was a relief, and the paint itself flows smoothly straight from the dropper without needing extra thinning. It's a rich, true violet that covers well over a dark primer, though I did need two coats for full opacity on a cloak.
