The matte finish on these oil paints is exactly what I needed for my military models—no glare under the hobby lamp. They thin beautifully with standard odorless thinner for both brush and airbrush work.

I was worried about cleanup with airbrushing, but the Odorless Thinner works perfectly with these paints. The matte finish gives my models a really professional, flat look without any brush strokes showing.

The oil paints blend very smoothly and the matte finish holds up well even after multiple layers. I found I still needed a good primer underneath for the color to pop on bare plastic.
