BROCK THE VANDEDER

The backstory of Brock being a hunted fur trader really drew me in, and the quality of the print makes the details of his rugged cloak pop. I’ve already spent an hour just studying the texture on the page.

I’m really impressed with the detail in Brock’s description—the hint of him being a hunter and fur trader makes his tragic backstory feel more grounded. The writing draws you right into his solitary, hunted life.

The character backstory on this one feels properly grim rather than tacked-on, and the hunter-turned-wanderer detail gives me a lot to work with for tabletop roleplay. I’ve already used his fleeing-trouble angle in two sessions and it fits perfectly.
