BLACKJACK

I needed a true deep black for my recent miniatures, and this paint's coverage is incredible—one coat over grey primer was enough. The consistency is smooth right out of the dropper bottle, no thinning required for base coating.

The finish is a nice matte black that picks up highlights well when you drybrush over it. I just wish the bottle was a bit bigger for the price, but the paint itself flows smoothly straight out of the dropper.

The Platinum Series finish here sits nicely between matte and gloss, which makes it easy to work with. A bit pricier than I'd normally spend, but the coverage means I'm using less overall.
